Taking engagement online can be daunting and often raises questions about inclusivity, yet it can also open up new possibilities, enabling different people to be involved in a process – and over a longer period – than traditional face-to-face methods might allow. Increasingly we are helping organisations to navigate these issues and to use online tools to engage their service users and citizens in new ways.
Our research and evaluation teams are also supporting organisations with moving online. When organisations are designing new digital tools and approaches of their own, we are helping to develop and evaluate those in ways that make for a stronger finished product. Our Digital Innovation Framework, which has been designed to support the development, implementation and scaling up of digitalisation projects, encourages our clients to be more strategic and systematic in their exploration of digital tools.
