Capacity Building for Commissioners: Webinar Contributors Confirmed.
This is a call for commissioners across central government departments, local authorities and trusts & foundations to join us on 4th November 9.30-11.00 to reflect on commissioning practices for social impact.
We’ll be joined by three guest speakers on our webinar next week:
- Linda McGowan, NHSEI – reflecting on her experience commissioning citizens’ panels across 20 integrated care systems.
- David Jaggs, Camden Council – reflecting on his experience reviewing and redesigning how the council works with voluntary sector partners to provide advice services
- Paul Corrigan, former Director of Strategy and Commissioning of the NHS London Strategic Health Authority and health adviser to the Labour Government, exploring the challenges and enablers to ‘proactive commissioning’
The session should be of interest to anyone working in a commissioning role in health or in central and local government, and will focus on some recent and current examples of more collaborative approaches to commissioning, including the role that monitoring and evaluation tools can play in supporting those approaches.
We’ll be packing a lot into our hour and half session, so we hope you’ll find it interesting and thought-provoking. You can sign up:
