Traverse is the new name for OPM Group. OPM was founded in 1989 and provided services in consultancy, people development and research. Since 2006, OPM has been fully owned by its members (employees) through an employee share ownership trust. In January 2012 OPM acquired Dialogue by Design, an industry-leading engagement and consultation practice with specialist expertise and experience in the environment, infrastructure, and utilities markets. This acquisition complemented OPM’s own engagement services and provides the additional offer of a large scale multi-channel consultation service.
Traverse is building on the history of both OPM and Dialogue by Design to provide full-service consultancy in: Consultation, Evaluation, Engagement, Organisational Development and Social Investment.
We have over 40 permanent staff (see teams below) and a similar number of long term freelancers (Associates). We also have a number of longterm partnerships with other specialist organisations which supplement our core skills.
