Alexa is an experienced social researcher with international experience, an eye for detail, and the capacity for big picture thinking. She is interested in climate justice, questions of reach, and finding synergies between health, social, and environmental policies to lessen social inequalities.
‘At Traverse, I am excited to be combining my academic social research skills with my experience doing grassroots organising and community engagement. My passion for identifying synergies between health, social, and environmental solutions brought me to the University of Oxford in 2017 for an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Governance at the School of Geography, after having previously completed a double major in Peace, Conflict, and Justice Studies, and Environmental Health at the University of Toronto for my undergraduate degree.'
