‘I am skilled at designing and managing engagement with the public and a range of political, technical and community stakeholders, both face-to-face and using traditional and digital channels. I am proactive at leading meaningful processes, which work for both participants and clients. Having spent 4 years as an elected local councillor in Lambeth, I am used to working with diverse audiences.

Traverse recognises the Climate Emergency as a key societal issue, and one which can only be addressed collectively. I am excited to be leading a workstream helping clients engage on environmental topics, from local climate action to the future of our energy system. The pathway to #NetZero cannot be achieved without significant changes to the way we live: from how our transport system functions and our houses are built, to where our food and power comes from. To succeed we must involve the public in shaping solutions: as we emerge from a pandemic which has rapidly changed our daily lives, there is a fresh opportunity to engage society in how we both recover and transition. I am particularly interested in the public dialogue needed around our energy system, to make the big changes necessary to limiting global warming.

Before joining the Traverse team, I worked on projects engaging local communities in shaping new housing, commercial and renewable energy developments across the country. I also campaigned on issues such as local air quality, accessible transport and neighbourhood environmental enhancements. I am able to take technical, policy and environmental information and tailor it to suit different audiences.  I have particular experience leading large communication and consultation processes for wind and solar energy sites.'
