Barbara joined Traverse from the Royal Society of Arts where she worked in the RSA Lab, leading on experimental design, with a focus on research methods and impact assessment.
Barbara is passionate about applying behavioural insights to social research across a number of areas including economic security, community cohesion, health and wellbeing.
Barbara is a social researcher, with experience working in research institutions and delivery organisations both domestically and overseas. She has developed a particular interest in comparative analysis across countries and cultures, having conducted extensive research in Brazil with a focus on behavioural change in disadvantaged communities. Barbara is keen to apply this intelligence in the UK contributing towards experimentation and service innovation. She is enthusiastic about translating complex ideas into tangible interventions, maximizing their impact on the ground through rigorous project design and evaluation approaches.
As a Senior Consultant at Traverse, Barbara leads on project management, business development and report writing.
