An expert in public service leadership, Dr Helen Brown is an experienced executive and team coach who contributes extensively to the public service organisation and leadership development agenda.
‘I am particularly interested in the nature of leadership in partnerships and new forms of organisation and I have worked extensively on the strategic challenges facing senior managers and leaders in this area.
Recently I have been working with the governing bodies of several Clinical Commissioning Groups as part of the National CCG Development programme to support the introduction of clinically-led commissioning. I have also helped local authorities to reshape the ways they commission and deliver services.
I have previously worked in higher education including at Warwick University Business School, where I taught organisation theory and human resource management to undergraduate and MBA students.
Outside of work I am a trustee and senior independent director of the Who Cares? charitable trust for looked after children and a founding trustee of the health and social care advisory service.’
