Lucy is an experienced qualitative researcher and project manager, with a particular interest in children and young people, equalities and the voluntary and community sector. Her work often focuses on bringing the views and voices of vulnerable people to the forefront of service and policy design.
‘I’ve worked at Traverse for over 8 years, during which I’ve been lucky enough to work on a huge range of research and evaluation projects with an equally wide variety of great people. From training young people in peer research methods, to engaging the public in a debate about how we measure time, to evaluating one of the UK’s first social impact bonds, my work is never dull and it’s always rewarding. I’m driven by the challenge of designing and carrying out research that both generates the evidence that clients need to make decisions, and enables a positive experience for those participating in it.’
